These garage door extension springs are double looped for doors up to 8ft high. Extension springs are sold individually. We highly recommend replacing both at the same time to extend the life of your new spring. To do this, order 2 QTY. Extension springs require 2 springs to pull the listed weight. Example: it takes two 80lb gold springs to lift a 80lb door. These springs are heavy duty and rated for 10,000 cycles (a cycle is 1 open and close of the door).
